With Loring Heights' central-city location and development is all around us, Land Use issues frequently affect the neighborhood. The LHNA Land Use Committee represents the interests of the LHNA on all issues of existing land use in all zoning matters such as compliance, variances, liquor licenses, or hearings concerning real property in the Loring Heights neighborhood. The committee also works toward developing master plans regarding future development and transportation issues within and around the neighborhood.

Many zoning issues that affect the neighborhood pass through Atlanta's Neighborhood Planning Unit, or NPU. As such, one of LHNA's board members serves as the neighborhood NPU representative, Attending all NPU-E meetings on behalf of Loring Heights and promoting LHNA positions on all issues before the NPU.
